      Thanks for your beautiful videos of Japan! I miss going there a lot- it’s a long and expensive trip from the UK and watching these is the next best thing to actually being there – I love the cosy vibe and the soothing music you use- it’s almost like ASMR in places . 😊

      Skye Budnick was last seen on American soil on March 31, 2008. Skye, a third-year student studying Japanese culture at Central Connecticut State University, purchased a one-way plane ticket to the northern-most island in Japan, Hokkaido. Skye was last seen in Japan by the innkeeper at an inn in the town of Noboribetsu on April 7, 2008. She told the innkeeper that she planned to go to the city of Sapporo, north of Noboribetsu. She has not been seen since that time. She did not tell anyone about her plans to go to Japan.

      長いなーと思ったけどつい最後まで見ちゃった。地元です。
      北国の暮らしは辛いこともあるけどこの美しさから離れることはできません。雪が降らない場所では暮らせないと思う。

      I loved every minute of this video. Hokkaido in winter looks like the most magical place ever and I desperately hope to go there someday. Your videos are always so charming and you find such unique spots to visit!

      It takes 35 minutes to get from Sapporo to Otaru on a rapid train, but 50 minutes on a local train.
      The journey takes a little longer at Asari Station along the way, as only local trains and trains that stop at every station stop there.

      It really does look so different!
      Almost couldn't recognise the place without seeing the steam clock again!

      The powdery snow and the overall aesthetic, really just adds to that feeling of a winter wonderland!
