Average south indian lunch – achar , pappu (dal) , sambar / rassam , any curry (mostly fry , on special days gravy curries ) , curd rice / buttermilk .. on Puja or festival days : pulihora 😂 (lemon rice ) and few sweets depending on the occasion..
Coming to breakfast – idly , poori , upma , Pongal , dosa , sometimes leftover rice and curd , pesarattu , Ragi ambali , sometimes any fruit or dry fruits , besan cheela (soya cheela or beet chela etc) chapathi and kurma , punugulu , aloo parata etc..

Not samosa, panner tikka masala , Paratha (made with maida) , biryani , pav bhaji and all .. ! We eat them ofc but occasionally .. there's much more to explore in Indian cuisine not panner tikka masala or butter chicken .. we have more vegetarian varities than non veg .. but u youtubers showcase only non veg items that few people eat once in a blue moon , and only highlight few food items (gulab jamun , jalebi , biryani , Pani puri etc) and don't highlight the actual Indian cuisine because no experienced chef can make traditional Indian cuisine like indian mothers and grandmothers did..

Samosa, paneertikka masala&mango lassi.This is not the extent of Indian food.There is much more!
